Auckland, New Zealand – Photo Diary

Hey guys! So I know in the Hello, 2019 post, I said I was going to be sharing lots more content this year. Unfortunately, I fell quite ill last month and am only getting back to myself now. I haven’t been that sick since I was a child! Let’s put it this way, the chest infection was so bad, that as well as antibiotics, the doctor even prescribed me an inhaler… 😅

Anyway, I’ve been sharing a lot more on Instagram again, and now here’s another post…which has been highly requested by friends, followers and family! If you know me at all, you’ll know my love for photography. After an 8-month break to visit some countries I’ve always wanted to see, people naturally want to see pictures!! So to start, the very first place we visited was, Auckland New Zealand. We didn’t collect our van until we were leaving Auckland, so we stayed pretty central and were on foot! There’s plenty to share about Auckland and all of New Zealand! So here is my photo diary.

We took a walk up Auckland’s highest volcano, Mt Eden, on the first day there and saw some beautiful views of the city, including Eden Park!! We actually walked there to have a look around and there were some people playing golf in the stadium – must have been some directors or high execs! 

Walking around, I quickly learned that Auckland is covered in murals. Here are some of the cool ones I saw during our 4 days there!

Overall,  Auckland was quite cool! It’s not the ‘most New Zealand place’ in New Zealand but it is great to visit for a few days! 

There’s so much wildlife in New Zealand, even in Auckland. Stumbled across this bird having a bath outside a museum! 

Everywhere you go, there are beautiful parks full of greenery and wildlife.
