5 Best Restaurants in Dublin

5 Best Restaurants, Dublin Ireland | Everything Obsessed Blog

Hello everyone!

Today I’m sharing the 5 Best Restaurants in Dublin. As someone who’s lived in Dublin are for many years, these are my personal favourite Dublin restaurants

1 – Viva

Location: Portabello, Dublin. (click here for maps)

Viva is a lovely tapas restaurant, located in Portabello Dublin. David and I first went there just over a year ago and couldn’t believe how nice it was! I’m struggling to find any pictures, but if you want tapas, this is a really nice authentic small tapas restaurant with great options. It almost feels like you are actually in Spain with authentic decor and service.

There are great options if you are vegetarian, and the prices are generally quite reasonable for what you get!

2 – Bobo’s

Location: Dame Street, Abby Street & Wexford Street (Click for maps)

Bobo’s is becoming a staple of Dublin. This small burger joint is sit in or take out. With 3 locations around Dublin City, however, I’ve only been to the Wexford Street location. Perfectly located nearby Whelan’s. this is a great option if you are looking for a quick but quality bite before a gig! Their veggie burger is one of the best I’ve ever had!

3 – Boojum

Location: Several around Dublin, but Abbey Street and Millennial Walk are my favourite two! (Click here for maps)

Where do I begin with Boojum?! If you want burritos in Dublin, there’s no place better! Their portion sizes are amazing, the staff are always friendly and helpful, and the food is the tastiest burrito you’ll find in Dublin. Of course, this is a perfect spot for any vegans/veggies, and that’s why it is part of the 5 Best Restaurants in Dublin!  [You pick what you want in your burrito/fajitas/etc]

4 – Yamamori

Location: Ormond Quay Lower (Click here for maps)

The best sushi and Japanese food you will get in Dublin. Yamamori has fresh, tasty sushi and even better seaweed salad! It has lovely decor and is designed specifically for sit down meals rather than a quick bite to go.

5 – Chai-Yo

Location: Baggot Street Lower (Click here for maps)

If you are going out for a group outing and like Tepenyaki, look no further than Chai-Yo! I went there a few months back for a work event, and to say we had a great time is an understatement! Not only was it fun, delicious and entertaining, but the atmosphere is great and the staff are so friendly and helpful. After your meal/s their staff come out with a little band and play well-known hits and invite members of your group to get up and sing too! We were sad to leave afterwards because we had had so much fun! I cannot recommend it enough, particularly if you have a big group! They have many vegetarian options, but some will need to be made in the kitchen (not in front), as they do cook a lot of meat after making rice and veg in front of you.

Well, there you have it, the 5 Best Restaurants in Dublin. I hope you enjoyed this post and get to try some of these places if you are around Dublin! I’ve linked some of these restaurants with Squaremeal. Squaremeal offers restaurant-standard recipes and now have an online booking service for restaurants, which is great for parties etc. It’s also worth noting, Squaremeal have hygiene ratings for restaurants!

(Sorry if anyone is offended by the picture of meat above, however it was the only picture I could get on our night here of the food being prepped. They were very accommodating to vegetarians & vegans and made us up special veggie/vegan meals)
